Even though the duo has been busy producing and touring with Moderat in the past
years, they have never lost their passion to play records. Being able to switch from live
performances in concert halls back to DJ Sets with pure club vibes, has since their
beginning been one of their major qualities.

like to claim for themselves today. However Modeselektors description as such does not
come as an afterthought or marketing ploy. The idea of going out of the ordinary
permeates their music because this dissolution of cultural borders is ingrained in their
